We worked in the studio in the Old Castle Breweries Building, Woodstock. We moved to Cape Town in 2003, but we had
been using the studo on and off everytime we stayed in Cape Town.
We had stayed for a longer work period in 1993. Work around 2004 used found objects, tidal detritus, pavement offerings and an amalgamation of the African venacular: beads, wire tin and wood. Although I am a painter foremostly, most
of the work from 2011 - 2015 is sculptural assemblage. |
